About Lean Lui

Lean Lui (b. 1998) is an artist and photographer based in Hong Kong. Her debut photo book<19.29>, was shortlisted for the Three Shadows Photography Award (2019) and exhibited at the Hong Kong International Photography Festival (2018). Her latest book, Aseptic Field (Setanta Books, London), has been featured in The Guardian, i-D, The Eye of Photography, and VOGUE, and was named one of the Best Photo books of 2023 by Another Magazine. In 2026, Lui was the Winner of the Belfast Photo Festival and was selected for the Hong Kong Arts Development Council's Venice Biennale 2026 Delegation and Exchange Programme. Her work has been collected by the CC Art Foundation and other private collections.
