These clothes were made by my sister and grandmother when she was 13, inspired by Lolita1997. At the time, she simply liked the style and had no idea it was linked to pedophilia. Now, at 23, healthy and strong, she still loves the style, believing that cuteness empowers her. Meanwhile, as I've grown up, conversations with friends have revealed that many girls bought similar clothing items during their adolescence. In Epstein's files, they also expressed their fetish by drawing and writing on girls' bodies, or let the girls cosplay. This cute style can empower girls, but it can also become a tool for abusers; it's precisely this blurred line catch my attention.
